JĀNIS BUKUMS signed to German "7US/7HARD" label

LATVIANS CAN! - JĀNIS BUKUMS proves it! Recently released second album "Ugunslietus" piqued interest of several music labels, and, after evaluating options and debating details, JĀNIS BUKUMS has signed contract with German "7US Media Group/7HARD", to distribute and promote album English version, named "Firerain", worldwide both on CD and digitally.

It has truly been a fruitful period for JĀNIS BUKUMS - in April 2016 the band released their second album "Ugunslietus", which came out just a year after the first album "Alive and Different". The new album displays band's musical potential, power and energy, un it has been noticed - lead by legendary rock promoter, music boss and author Hans Derer, his company "7US/7HARD" offered a full label deal to JĀNIS BUKUMS to distribute and promote the new album English version "Firerain" across the world in CD and digital format. The new release will officially see the day on November 25th 2016.

Jānis Bukums is glad about the new deal:

"The release of our new album in English language format for the listeners of the world is the next logical step for our band. This album is a qualitative, conceptually clean and stylistically united continuation of our effort: energetic, intelligent and powerful stadium rock. The album has 10 new compositions, as well as a cover version of Snow Patrol's song "Chasing Cars" - it is our tradition to include a provocation in every album. To preserve the original meaning of the lyrics, we invited our good friend Diāna Lasinska to help with the translation - by the way, she can also be seen in our newest music video, shot for the song "Chasing Cars"."

"So the total comes up to 11 songs.  The album has songs about lies, love, fantasy and reality, and musings about life and Latvia. It also contains one very special and meaningful song dedicated to my father - in it I've tried to say everything that I should have, but could not tell him while he was still alive. I believe this song encompasses everything that men should tell their fathers at some point in life. I am very thankful to my band mates for their work and talent. I think this album is our best so far and now listeners of the world will also be able to enjoy our music, thanks to "7US/7HARD". Our moto still is - LATVIANS CAN!
